"The owner of this kebab place is a wonderful man. He represents a wonderful part of the Eixample community. My friends and I visited Istanbul Grill 5 times during our 6 day trip to Barcelona. He always served us with a smile and was able to communicate with our basic Spanish and in English. He was a kind man and we looked forward to returning for a quality meal at a very affordable price. We would highly recommend visiting this establishment if you a looking for a reliable, delicious and cheap meal in the area. We visited for lunch, dinner and late at night. We will miss Istanbul Grill when we return to Australia."

"Really nice place for late takeaways as it is open past 1am. Tasty falafel wrap with salad and sauces for €3.95. Food was well done and chef was attentive to my specifications. I won't usually bother about take aways on a trip, as I prefer to taste local foods but this was worth, O actually went back the next day."

"I am Turkish and this restaurant's doner is original Turkish doner. It is almost perfect. You can find better doner in Turkey but, in Barcelona, Istanbul Grill is probably the best."
